A: Forget the belt! I'd change into a T-shirt, unravel the sweater for the yarn, and crochet something with it!

If your sweater is that long you need a belt over it.
Hmm Apparently Anonymous doesn't get it....
if the sweater is stretched that much the yarn is of more value than the sweater.
