I've got a stitch that is driving me nuts... the Alligator or crocodile stitch. There are pretty patterns on ETSY using this stitch, but I'm determined to find out how to do this stitch and make my own pattern(s). So far I've only found a square tutorial but I think it's enough that I can figure out how to make the "scales" then make up what I want.
Anyone heard of this? I'll post what I find out here if it's anything legible.

HA! I've been trying to figure out the pattern as well. I found a tea cosy and also a video in another language. I am working on it, too.
