Don't forget the little ones!

Hi Everyone,

Just a note to remind you that while you're making up things for charity, (I hope you haven't gotten too busy with the spring weather! Even with the weather breaking many little ones are doing without.) don't forget these groups:

your local NICU or preemie charity! For Preemie or Newborn patterns, please visit The Nursery, Bev's Country Cottage, or Newborns in Need for some patterns and ideas to get you started.

Any group serving babies NB-Preschool- there are still many children out there that have very little or nothing! Newborns in Need Home office and many other charities I'm sure are still getting calls from social organizations trying to help those who lost everything in Hurricane Katrina.

Blankets for your local humanitarian group- anything from burnout to illness, homelessness, you name it!

Some of my favorite patterns:

Bev's Baby Shirt- crocheted

Bev's Kittens in a Row afghan
South Bay Crochet - Cheryls Scrap Reversible Shells Afghan
(Can be adapted to any size!

Newborn Boy and Girl Booties
Preemie Girl and Boy Booties
Bev's Easy Round Baby Hat

Make one up for your favorite charity today! Just make sure you help keep a little one warm- they are the most helpless and depend on someone to care for them.

I have been crocheting like a madwoman for Pine Ridge. I wanted to tell you, I am using your 'Rubys' slipper' pattern a lot. I love it. I haven't made a pair for myself yet, but they seem nice and warm. I've made a pair for both of my elders at PR, and a pair for one of their grandchildren, and well let's just say I've made about six pairs so far. :) Now I'm making a pair for my stepdad. Just wanted to say thanks for sharing the pattern. :)
